Alliance Bank VCC

We are delighted to partner with Alliance Bank to help spread their Visa Virtual Credit Card (VCC) to over 150,000 users of the MyTaman app. VCC is Malaysia's first credit card with “dynamic card number” feature, offering enhanced security for online transactions at a time of worsening scams and cybersecurity threats.

The Alliance Bank Visa Virtual Credit Card (“VCC”) is a line of credit granted by Alliance Bank Malaysia Berhad (“ABMB”). The Alliance Bank Virtual Credit Card is a digital credit card issued by Alliance Bank that can be used for online transactions within the MyTaman app. The VCC works much the same way as regular credit cards. The VCC is available via MyTaman, where users may apply, view, and use their VCC through MyTaman.

Users who are interested in applying for the VCC may follow the steps below:
1. Open MyTaman app
2. Click the ‘Virtual Credit Card’ button in the Residents’ Space section on the landing page.
3. Proceed with the VCC application by providing personal and income details, taking a photo of the Identity Card (Front and Back), and uploading an EPF statement or proof of income
4. User will receive a notification once the application is approved or rejected

1. Principal Cardholders, 21 years old and above
2. Annual Income of Minimum RM24,000 p.a.

For the time being, VCC users will enjoy a seamless transaction for:
i. Jompay Payment
ii. Duit Now QR payment at Duit Now merchants

Via VCC, MyTaman users shall enjoy seamless credit card payment on their mobile devices without a physical card. MyTaman users can now effortlessly manage and pay their maintenance fees, rental charges, and subscriptions to popular platforms like Netflix and Gmail. Alliance Bank VCC users via MyTaman will additionally benefit from MyTaman reward points. Powered using blockchain technology, this much-anticipated feature is slated for rollout soon in the coming months.

You will receive your credit card statement via email on a monthly basis and pay through i.e. Online Banking / Interbank Giro (IBG) / ATM Transfer / Payment at Cash Deposit Machine, among others.
